Speeder wreaks havoc on Sun King

Recently, in the early hours of the morning, my wife and I were woken by another speeding motorist on Sun King who caused damage by knocking out the city’s street light box, an electrical green box, telephone and cable box.  

The kind motorist fled the scene before police arrived.

I am just thankful no school children were killed on the sidewalk or while trying to cross the street to attend school at St. Gabriel’s, as there really should be a stop sign on the corner of Coronation Parkway and Sun King Crescent. Our municipal tree was damaged and my wife’s landscaping was destroyed out front of our house.  

Cold residents did get their power back and the green electrical box has been replaced. Telephone, cable, and street light boxes are destroyed but safely marked off. Not sure whose budget this will come out of as the motorist was not caught.    

If the owner of the Silver Chevy SUV is looking for their missing parts, they are at the police station.
