Local kids reach out to Haiti with cookies

Local children started baking up a storm to help the people in Haiti over the weekend. Off they went pulling a wagon door to door giving anyone who donated to the cause a plate of homemade goodies.

Seven children took part in raising $600 for the Red Cross. Andrew and Hannah Dodington continued on to raise an additional $511 for Doctors Without Borders and $244 for the United Church Foundation for Haiti for a grand total of $1,356.
