What's Happening


Strawberry Supper
Fri., June 26, 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Trinity United Church, Robert St., Thornton. 705-458-9893.
Serving ham, salads, and fresh strawberries. Tickets are $14 for adults, $5 for children six to 12. Children five and under are free. Takeout available.

Free cooking skills and healthy eating program for children eight to 13. Each session runs for three days and includes tasty meals, fun games, and activities.


VON Adult Day Program
Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Simcoe Manor, 5988 8th Line, Beeton
A social and recreational day program for seniors and adults who are frail, cognitively impaired, isolated, or physically challenged.  Assistance with transportation is available. Contact Joan Woll, Program Coordinator, Victorian Order of Nurses, at 905-729-0700.

Drivers provide transportation for seniors that need to get to their medical appointments. Mileage reimbursed.


Senior Youth Advisors, South Simcoe
