We are so pleased to have Counc. Christine Brayford as the town representative on our board of directors. We know that she keeps our cause and the extent of our program before the members of council and staff - we greatly appreciate this.

Councillor Brayford sat in on our meetings even before she was officially assigned. She assumed a very hectic schedule of meetings commencing January 2007. Until a few months ago, this entailed weekly meetings, preparations for major events including the official opening July 1, 2007 and governance workshops for members of the board.

Christine often represented council at functions at the centre. She frequently led tours through the four levels of the centre and was very active in promoting the programs offered here - what an ambassador for this superb cultural centre in our town.

Councillor Brayford, thank you for continuing to support the most unique cultural centre north of the GTA. We trust that you will continue to find the time out of your very busy schedule to provide valued input at our meetings and to the centre. Again, thank you.
