Members of the Nottawasaga Handweavers and Spinners presented the Gibson Centre with a burgundy and white table runner that features handspun wool in a traditional overshot pattern called “Four Leaf Clover”. The table runner will be one of the many items featured in the upcoming silent auction at the gala. Informal attire. Tickets $75.
Thurs., May 15 - 7 a.m. Mayors’ Breakfast for the Arts. Breakfast with the Mayors and celebrate the arts at The Gibson Centre. Join the South Simcoe Arts Council and the Gibson Centre for Community, Arts and Culture at the Centre as they honour individuals, organizations and businesses for their contributions to the arts in South Simcoe.
Local award-winning photographers Milestones Exhibit. Milestones is comprised of Steve Noseworthy (Angus), John Ashbourne (Mono), Craig Bell (Palgrave), Rosemary Hasner (Mansfield) and Pete Herlihy (Orangeville). All five have been honoured for their work in various photo and art competitions across the province. Milestones will continue at the Gibson Centre until April 28.
