A new play being staged at the Gibson Centre takes jabs at acting and Shakespeare.

The plot of  Random Acts of Love centres around middle aged actors. Performed by Bruce Gooch (who also wrote the play) and Lynn Vogt, the main characters repeat an old affair while rehearsing for a show about love.

The play has received many great reviews, such as one in the Pullman Herald which states, “the audience is going to laugh and cry and walk away feeling good.”

Showtimes were scheduled for Fri., May 9 and Sat., May 10, but the production is now on hold until later this summer. Details will be published when they become available. For more information call the Gibson Centre at 705-435-2828. The Gibson Centre is located at 63 Tupper St. W.,  Alliston.
