Achill concert celebrates 25 years

Achill Choral Society is celebrating its silver anniversary this spring.

In honour of the milestone the Spring Concert Series is presenting Robert Levin’s completed version of Mozart’s unfinished Great Mass in C minor.

Orchestral accompaniment will be provided by the Valen Ensemble and organ accompaniment by Christopher Dawes.

The concert series will also feature soloists Mark DuBois, Daniel Lichti, Jennifer Enns, and Stephanie Kramer.

A local performance will be held Sun., May 4 at 8 p.m. at St. James’ Roman Catholic Church, 2118 Adjala-Tecumseth Townline in Colgan. Sat., May 10 a concert will be held in Bradford at the Springdale Christian Reformed Church, 1466, 5th Sideroad, starting at 8 p.m.

Tickets are $25. They are available in Alliston at Papermoon Gallery and A Loft of Books.
