Healthy-lifestyles open house

ALLISTON - Kinetic Fitness Group and the Running Experience are holding an open house celebration tomorrow night (Thurs., Nov. 26) in Alliston.

Running Coach Ann Jackson, who has been a runner and endurance athlete for more than 20 years, and Certified Kinesiologist Steve Coons, who has been a personal trainer and fitness and health educator for more than 20 years, will help visitors set their fitness goals in motion.

Jackson said drawing on her vast personal experience in running and her participation in many running events, it is her goal to help people achieve better health through running clinics, seminars and coaching.

She is the Executive Director and Founder of Girls on the Run (GOTR) Simcoe County.

Meanwhile, Coons has a passion for helping people of all ages and ability levels maximize their health potential and accomplish their fitness goals.

He is a certified kinesiologist with an Honours B.Sc. in Human Kinetics from the University of Guelph. He has co-authored a series of health resources called Lifestyle Journey, which have been used by over 50,000 young people over the past seven years.

The open house will be at 22 Paris Street, Suite 2 in Alliston from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
