Lost pet owners need closure

July 01, 2009 22:07

Pets do come into people's lives many ways. Example; abandoments, adoption, buying, or being asked to take in an animal.

When a pet is lost or taken away, everyone looks for it. But it is strange when a pet cannot be found. Has it been stolen? Hurt? Abused? And nobody says anything?

Maybe it's time for people to speak up, by phoning dog catchers, humane societies, or the local police, just to report if an animal has been hurt or accidently killed, so when people phone these places, that we can have closure. Thank you.

Douglas Yeaman,
Everett
