Everett gearing up for Griswold competition

Winter is now upon us, and the EPIC elves want residents to think about decorating their homes for the Christmas season.

The Everett Parks and Improvement Committee (EPIC) will be hosting its annual Griswold Lighting Competition. Judging by the EPIC elves will take place on Sun., Dec. 7 starting at 6 p.m.

Categories will include: most traditional, most animated, most creative, most energy-efficient, and one lucky winner will be awarded the Griswold title. You must live within the boundaries of Ward 4 of Adjala-Tosorontio to be eligible for this event.

Local businesses who have donated prizes for this event include Partylite (Tammy Hudgin), Tupperware (Cherie Mason), The Alliston Herald, Alliston Home Building Centre, Tim Hortons, Swiss Chalet, Barber Plus, Subway and McDonald's.
