The Clearview IceCats hosted 24 teams at the New Tecumseth Rec Centre in Alliston over three days, Sept. 26-28, in the third annual Clearview IceCats Pre-Season Tournament.
Teams came from across the province from Chatham, up to the shores of Lake Huron, and as far east as Peterborough.
With divisions ranging from Atom through Midget, at A and BB levels, the hockey was fast and furious all weekend.
Clearview had entries in each of the six divisions and the association was well represented; four of the six teams made it to the finals and three of the four won their divisions.
Also, for the first time, there was a skills competition that was well attended by all. This was a chance for the girls to exhibit the skill that exists around the province and once again Clearview was well represented, winning at least one category in five of the six divisions.
This top level of hockey can be seen all season in arenas around the area. The next tournament will be in Creemore Dec. 6 and 7.
Congratulations to the Champions:

Peewee BB -Orangeville
Peewee A - Clearview
