The South Simcoe Palette Club is sketching a plan for its first show at the Gibson Centre. The show is scheduled for Sept. 18 to Oct. 1.

The palette club has been meeting in the community for nearly 50 years. It encourages artists to take part in a weekly painting session. Opportunities to show work in an art show, sketch in the countryside or learn from workshops are also available through the club.

For more information or to join the club call Kayla at 705-435-0745 or Ruth at 705-458-4466.
