Museum on the Boyne is inviting everyone to celebrate Breast Cancer Awareness Month at a Think Pink Tea from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Sat., Oct. 4.

Join the museum for an afternoon filled with everything pink. Special exhibitors will provide beauty tips and wonderful products along with important information on early detection and awareness. Light refreshments will also be available.

While at the museum, be sure to check out the special exhibit, "It's in the Bag - The Evolution of Handbags".

Local businesses such as Avon consultant, Barb Rumble, the Canadian Cancer Society, CIBC, Flowers by Lady Di, Jenn Hodgson Esthetics, Mary Kay independent beauty consultant Debbie McKeown, Pampered Chef independent consultant, Jodi Longland, The Soap Opera and Taylor's Jewellers will have pink displays to tickle your fancy. Come and see what wonderful treasures are available in your own backyard.

Tickets must be purchased in advance and are $10 for museum members and $15 for non-members. Space is limited so reserve your ticket today online at www.town.newtecumseth.on.ca or over the phone at 905-729-1260.

Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society can also be made that day.

Celebrate the women in your life with an afternoon out at the museum. The Museum on the Boyne is located at 250 Fletcher Crescent next to Stevenson Memorial Hospital.
