Disabled association hosts meeting/workshops

The Simcoe County Association for the Physically Disabled is having its annual general meeting Tues., Sept. 9.

It is at 6 p.m. at the Kempenfelt Conference Centre, 3722 Fairway Road, Innisfil.

The day of the meeting, there will be a variety of workshops throughout the day for individuals involved with the municipal Accessibility Advisory Committees across Simcoe County and area, and individuals with physical disabilities, their families and friends.

There is a dinner from 5 pm to 6 p.m. It is $10 for members and $15 for non-members.

After the meeting, Sue Minns will present I Choose The Red Shoes, a comedic look at living with change and stress.
