Police are searching for vandals who seem to have a penchant for smashing glass.

Between July 9 and July 22, Nottawasaga OPP report they have investigated no less than 20 reports from people who have had their vehicle’s windows smashed by rocks.

Investigation revealed that in almost all the cases the smashing took place between 11 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning.

There isn’t one specific location being targeted as police report the window smashing has taken place right across the Nottawasaga OPP detachment area. That’s what makes them think the culprit or culprits are traveling around in a vehicle themselves to commit the crimes.

Police are asking the public to be on the lookout and for anyone who may already have information about the malicious acts of vandalism to give them a call at 905-729-4004 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
