An upcoming concert July 10 by Mickey Dolenz of The Monkees fame and the classic new wave 80s band, The Spoons at the Capitol Event Theatre in Toronto will directly benefit the Utopia Gristmill and Park Restoration Fund.

A special upcoming concert in Toronto July 10 is benefitting a local historic restoration project.

The “I’m A Believer” benefit concert with Micky Dolenz, formerly of the Monkees, as well as The Spoons,  a successful Canadian new wave band from the 80s, will take place at the Capitol Event Theatre at 2492 Yonge St., Toronto. The bands have thrown their support behind the Bell’s Gristmill restoration project in Utopia.

Tickets are available online at www.ticketweb.ca at a cost of $50 plus handling and GST or by calling Visions of Utopia at 416-535-6710 or 1-888-222-6608. For bus and ticket information, please call 705-728-8894 or 705-728-2113. A bus will leave the Utopia Community Hall at 6:15 p.m.
