Malcolm Fisher gives Max, the family dog, a celebratory hug after the dog won the “sit-on-command” obedience test following the Alliston and District Humane Society’s annual Walk-a-Dog-a-thon Saturday.
Held at Earl Rowe Provincial Park, the walk drew many participants, almost as many with four legs as with two, with all proceeds supporting the humane society and its shelter fund.
