The annual Walk-a-dog-athon is only two weeks away. Pledge sheets are available at participating retailers or at the A&DHS website. Guaranteed prize awarded for minimum pledge of $100. Start practicing for the Great Canadian Sit-Off. All proceeds go to the Shelter Building Fund.

Pets for Adoption

Cats

The adoption fee for cats is $99 neutered, dewormed and vaccinated, and litter box trained.

Clarabelle - One-year-old, calico, DSH. S/F. A quiet home preferred. 705-794-3308.

Princess Layla - Two-year-old, S/F. DSH. Orange/white. This one will steal your heart. 705-435-2851.

Syd - Seven-year-old, N/M. DSH. Grey tabby. Lovable old guy w/thyroid condition needs special home. 705-458-1510.

Higgins - Eight-year-old, N/M. A big, affectionate guy who has flame point Siamese somewhere in his background. White with peachy overtones and blue eyes. He is FIV positive and needs to be the only cat or with another cat with FIV. He gets along with dogs. 705-435-2851.

Seneca - Five-year-old, manx/tabby-cross. DLH. S/F comes with her friend, Georgia, two-year-old Siamese-cross. Black and white. DSH. S/F. 705-435-2851.

Kittens available - $45 adoption fee.

Heidi and Asta - Both eleven-week-old champagne tabbies. DSH. Female. 905-936-1082.

Found Dogs

Mixed breed - Mostly beige in color, with some white and brown, droopy ears. Young female with pink collar. Nelson Street West, Alliston.

Lost Cats

Emmett - Dark brown, black and grey tabby with white on face, chest and paws. DLH. N/M. 6th Line, New Tecumseth.

Hunter - Large orange and white, DMH. Horizontal scar on bridge of nose. Intact male. Wearing white flea collar. Airport Road, Hockley Valley area.

Lemmy - White DSH, with black specks on forehead. N/M. Walkem and Sullivan streets, Tottenham.

Buddy - Large orange tabby with white paws and chest. 22 pounds. DMH. N/M. McMulkin and McKnight, Alliston.

Charlie - Black and white. Black moustache. One-year-old, DSH. S/F. Quebec Loop, Borden.

Found Cats

Dark coloured - All white underneath, white legs. Fluffy tail. DMH. Male, Victoria Street, Alliston.

Orange with white legs - DSH. Four or five years old. Intact male. 4th Line of Adjala north of Highway 9.
