Charity concert by young pianist Sunday

Pianist Mathew Walton is performing a charity concert in the Honda Performance Hall at the Gibson Centre for Community, Arts and Culture in Alliston this Sunday (May 25) at 4 p.m. All proceeds will be donated directly back to the cultural centre. Tickets are $12.

A recent graduate of Wilfred Laurier University with a bachelors degree in music, Walton  will be attending the University of Ottawa for a masters degree in music performance. The Gibson Centre performance will include some classical compositions including Mozart and Beethoven as well as some contemporary song transcriptions.
