A community service award should go to Wanda, Joe, Kirsten and the Zellers staff for their daily kindnesses to the many seniors who enjoy the cafeteria. It’s like a home away from home.

My mum, now 96, looks forward to her frequent trips to the Zellers cafeteria. We see other seniors doing the same thing.

We also see countless acts of kindness on the part of staff. Orientation for new staff must be include a ‘be kind to seniors component’.

My mum, Dorothy Murray, says ‘aging is not so bad when you have Zellers to help you’.

She has been sent home with an orchid, lily and tulips, all to cheer her up.

Many thanks to Zellers staff.

Dorothy and Wayne Murray,
Loretto
