TNT School of Martial Arts returned to Alliston well decorated after competing at the 8th Annual Iwata Cup Canada Invitational karate tournament. TNT members who won medals are, from left, Sean Drummond, Jennifer Carrick and Josh Carrick.

TNT School of Martial Arts won two gold and two silver medals at a karate tournament April 27.

At the Eighth Annual Iwata Cup Canada Invitational karate tournament, Sean Drummond placed first in the men’s intermediate Kumite (sparring).

In the women’s intermediate division, Jennifer Carrick placed first in Kata (forms) and second in Kumite.

Josh Carrick placed second in the men’s black belt heavy weight division.

The tournament was hosted in Toronto by Sam Moledski of Shito Kai Canada and the World Shito Kai Federation. It featured competitors from Ontario, Quebec and England.
