At left: In celebration of their Silver Jubilee anniversary, the Achill Choral Society presented Mozart’s Great Mass in C minor at St. James Roman Catholic Church in Colgan. Playing to a packed house, the Choral Society featured soloists Mark DuBois, Jennifer Enns Modolo (pictured centre), and Stephanie Kramer, accompanied by the Valen Ensemble. If you missed last weekend’s concert, you can still catch a performance Sat., May 10 in Bradford at the Springdale Christian Reformed Church, 1466 5th Sideroad, starting at 8 p.m. Tickets are $25. They are available in Alliston at Papermoon Gallery and Loft of Books, Let’s Decorate in Bolton, Jelly Craft Bakery in Shelburne, and in Orangeville at Booklore and Korsten Jewellers.
