Oct. 12-18 is Community Care Worker Week, a time to recognize the impact that community care workers have on the health of individuals and communities.
Personal Support Workers (PSWs) assist clients of all ages and diagnoses to remain in their homes by providing a broad range of support services, such as personal care, home maintenance, meal preparation, caregiver relief and palliative care.
Home and community care is vital to the success and sustainability of our health care system, and Saint Elizabeth Health Care's community care workers are dedicated to providing high quality compassionate care to help clients remain where they most frequently wish to be - in their own homes.
Saint Elizabeth Health Care employs 240 Personal Support Workers throughout Simcoe and Grey County and has been serving our local community since 1997.
